Wow! Wasn’t general conference amazing?
In the last talk of conference, Elder Cook said:
If there is one preeminent objective of general conference, it is to build faith in God the Father and our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
The talks that I heard definitely helped me feel closer to Heavenly Father, the Savior, and the Holy Ghost. I felt reassured of their love and their desire to support and help me as I do my best to follow Them.
For FHE tonight we’ll talk about what stood out to us in conference and watch this 3 and a half minute video clip of President Monson. In it he said:
The importance of having a firm and sure testimony of the Book of Mormon cannot be overstated. … I implore each of us to prayerfully study and ponder the Book of Mormon each day. As we do so, we will be in a position to hear the voice of the Spirit, to resist temptation, to overcome doubt and fear, and to receive heaven’s help in our lives.
